I must admit that although I'd like to see some snow this year for my kids to play in, I am loving this warm weather! It is perfect for outdoor portraits.
Yesterday I got to work with another amazing couple. Desiree and Tony were so much fun to photograph, I can't wait till the wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!

90 Degrees to the left

Sometimes just turning a picture 90 degrees can lead to a completely different story. Last weekend I took my sons out hiking in the woods. Even though it felt like spring, it didn't quite look like it. As we were heading out, the boys started climbing on some old fallen trees and that's where we discovered hundreds of shelf fungus living on the decaying logs. I got some good shots but nothing was really speaking to me, then I flipped an image 90 degrees and suddenly I had a whole new image.

There is always more than one way to look at something, when the view gets old, just try tilting your head a little.

Thank you to everyone who helped make 2011 such a great year for Churetta Photography! It was truly a pleasure to work with so many great families this year. I was lucky enough to be photographing right up to the last day of the year with Emily and Josh's New Year's Eve engagement session in downtown Bethlehem.

Not only were the parents a blast to work with but their daughter Addison was by far one of the most cooperative 3 year olds I have ever photographed, and coming from the father of 3 year old twins, that says a lot! Mother's Day Special! ~ Lehigh Valley Family Photography

History lesson

I've always been a little bit of a history buff. This morning I managed to sneak out of the house for a few hours to check out the living history civil war encampment down in historic Bethlehem. Its always great when the living history re-enactors get to set-up in an actual historic location. I managed to get some great shots before the crowds started to move in and after a few minutes in photoshop, I managed to create some pretty accurate looking images... Enjoy.
